I've completed the final list of selections for the Cannonball Read 4. I feel good about it. It's fairly balanced, covers a breadth of genres and authors, includes works both classic and modern, includes fiction and nonfiction, and each of the books appeals to me in some way.

And we have our first substitution of the Cannonball. Seriously, have you ever seen the unabridged version of Don Quixote? It's massive. It's going to have to come off the list. In its place is Terry Brooks' Armageddon's Children.
If you're wondering about Tigana, it's still on the list, but I'm waiting for it to come through on an Interlibrary Loan. Until then, we move forward.
